About me

I’m captivated by exaggerated expression, dramatic situations, and am particularly interested in telling a story through my paintings. Many times, I find inspiration in occurrances in real life that seem play out like a theater performance. The actors could be myself, family members, close friends, neighbors, or strangers on the street.

Painting allows me to capture these theatrical moments, reinterpret them, and give them new meaning. While working on a piece, it feels like new life emerges and takes hold. I try to let each painting speak for itself.
